Gardner moves to greener pastures
John Gardner last week farewelled Clarity Communications, to chase corporate and financial public relations opportunities on the east coast.
John Gardner has over 20 years’ experience in corporate communication and investor relations in Sydney, Perth and London. His experience lies in the development of corporate, investor and transaction communication strategies in a broad range of sectors.
Mr Gardner has led the communication on many highly successful transactions and provided counsel to management on several complex issues in the corporate sector. He has also held in-house investor relations and corporate communication roles with an ASX-listed company.
Mr Gardner was the founder of MAGNUS in Sydney and Perth. The investor relations and communications firm, later known as Citadel-MAGNUS, was subsequently sold to US company Morrow Sodali in October 2022. In November 2022 he founded Sustainable Sport Australia, the country's first specialist advisory firm dedicated to working with sporting organisations to enhance and protect their reputations and ensure their long-term sustainability through the lens of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) factors.
Mr Gardner holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University, several financial markets-related postgraduate qualifications, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
