John Finch

Captain John Finch was the general manager of operations at Port Hedland Port Authority and is now general manager of operations at Pilbara Ports Authority. He is a Master Mariner by profession and holds an MBA in Maritime Management. Capt Finch has more than 30 years of experience in marine, regulatory and port management roles as well as extensive knowledge and operational expertise. He was harbour master in a number of Queensland ports. Capt Finch has held senior port operations and regulatory positions after serving approximately 15 years on international and coastal vessels in various marine industry sectors.
