Jeffrey MacDonald

Jeff has over 32 years experience working in the international oil and gas industry. He was a managing director at First Reserve Corporation, the world's largest energy focused private equity firm. He was a founder and CEO of two highly successful independent North Sea oil and gas companies.
Following 12 years with Conoco, Jeff founded Blackwatch Petroleum Services, a successful E & P consultancy company based in the UK where Jeff directed multi-disciplined teams mostly involved with evaluation, mergers and acquisitions, disposals and financing of assets.
Jeff's appointment as a director of Empire Oil & Gas NL in 2011 strengthens the board of Empire, adding petroleum engineering, reservoir engineering and oil business skills at both technical and board level at a time when the company is developing its Red Gully Gas and Condensate Production Facility near Gingin, Western Australia.
