Jane Nelson has over 30 years of experience in sustainable development and natural resources. She is the founding director of Harvard Kennedy School’s Corporate Responsibility Initiative.
Ms Nelson is a company director and serves on advisory councils to several major companies and non-profit organisations. Based in the US, she has also worked for The Prince of Wales International Business Leaders Forum in the UK, the World Business Council for Sustainable Development in Africa, FUNDES in Latin America, and as vice president at Citibank in Asia, Europe and the Middle East.
Ms Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics (Cum Laude) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa; and a Bachelor of Arts and Masters of Arts in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Oxford, where she was a Rhodes Scholar.
