Newcomers take Deep Yellow offer
TWO Western Australian mining identities have emerged to take advantage of the renewed vigour in the junior resources sector.
Howard Dawson had an 11-year career as a geologist before entering the securities industry as a research analyst in 1987. Over the subsequent 19 years, he fulfilled a number of complimentary roles within the securities industry including research, corporate advisory, business development and management for firms including Hartley Poynton, McIntosh Securities, Merrill Lynch and ABN AMRO Morgans.
Mr Dawson joined the board of Entek Energy as non-executive director in 2016 and became non-executive chair in 2017 following a board re-organisation. He resigned from the board in September 2017.

Lithex Resources chairman Malcolm Carson has been appointed executive chairman, to replace managing director Robert Mandanici, who has resigned from the company to pursue other business interests.
Outgoing migme chairman Howard Dawson plans to become a director of a Singapore-founded fantasy sports company that is seeking an ASX listing through Nevada Iron, as another Perth company backed out of a tech acquisition because of an ASX ruling.
Howard Dawson has retired as non-executive chairman of migme. Mr Dawson was associated with the company since its listing on ASX in August 2014.
