Chief Executive Officer / Brambles

Graham Chipchase joined Brambles in January 2017 as chief executive designate and was formally appointed chief executive in February 2017.

Prior to Brambles he was chief executive of Rexam, one of the world’s largest consumer packaging companies, from 2010 to June 2016. Mr Chipchase first joined Rexam in 2003 as group finance director before becoming group director of plastic packaging. He left Rexam in June 2016, after it was successfully acquired by Ball Corporation.

Mr Chipchase is also non-executive director of AstraZeneca and chair of its remuneration committee.

He holds a Master of Arts (Honours) in Chemistry from Oriel College, Oxford and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
