Garry Korte

Chief Executive / Hancock Prospecting

Garry Korte was appointed chief executive of Hancock Prospecting in 2016. He was previously chief financial officer of Hancock Prospecting subsidiary company Roy Hill Holdings from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, Mr Korte was chief financial officer of Paladin Energy and of Windimurra Vanadium. His career began with PwC before working with Credit Suisse First Boston and later Brambles Industrial Services.

Mr Korte is also a minority shareholder of a mining and construction business for over 8 years.

He is a Chartered Accountant admitted to Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2001.
