Legal appointments
Fran Lawrence is a skilled writer and highly effective communicator across a range of sectors including government, property and corporate.
Ms Lawrence began her career at The West Australian and over the course of 10 years with the paper, she held roles including IT editor, commercial property editor and senior finance journalist. For seven years, she has been WA media and communications manager for a leading commercial property agency Colliers International with responsibility for the company’s media relations and communications strategy, a role where she builds and maintains strong relationships with property and business journalists and editors in WA and nationally.
Ms Lawrence joined Cannings Purple in July 2015 as an associate director. She then became a director of corporate affairs in July 2017 and special counsel for its property sector clients in November 2021.
