Deanna Carpenter

Deanna Carpenter advises on transactional matters including schemes of arrangements, takeovers and other control transactions, asset acquisitions and disposals, and capital raisings including placements, rights issues, securities purchase plans, IPOs and backdoor listings. She also advises on general corporate advisory matters including Corporations Act and ASX Listing Rules compliance, continuous and periodic disclosure obligations, corporate governance, directors’ duties, related party transactions, due diligence investigations, employee incentive schemes and shareholder meetings.

Ms Carpenter was recognised as a Recommended Corporate Lawyer – Western Australia by Doyle’s Guide 2018.

She has worked at the ASX, Minter Ellison, Hardy Bowen, and Bellanhouse Lawyers prior to joining HWL Ebsworth Lawyers in November 2019 when Bellanhouse merged with HWL. In February 2022, Ms Carpenter left HWL to join Hamilton Locke as a foundation partner following its establishment of an office in Perth.
