David Robinson has significant engineering experience in the infrastructure, resources, rail and transport markets in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Asia.
During a 37-year career at McConnell Dowell, including 15 years as managing director & chief executive until his retirement in August 2015, Mr Robinson was instrumental in leading the development and management of the company. McConnell Dowell operated in multiple countries with revenue of circa $3 billion per annum.
Mr Robinson was a non-executive director of Aveng, a South African infrastructure and engineering company listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil Engineering) degree, and is a Ffellow of the Australian Institute of Engineers and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
