David Richards

David Richards has over 35 years of experience in mineral exploration in Australia, Southeast Asia and western USA. His career includes exploration and resource definition for a variety of gold and base metal deposit styles and he led the team that discovered the multi-million ounce, high grade Vera-Nancy gold deposits in North Queensland.

Mr Richards held senior positions with Battle Mountain Australia, Delta Gold, AurionGold, and was managing director of ASX-listed Glengarry Resources and Liontown Resources. He was an executive director of Liontown Resources and transitioned to a non-executive director upon listing of Minerals 260 where he became managing director. In July 2023, Mr Richards transitioned to an executive director of Minerals 260 and then to non-executive director in November 2023.
