David Archer is a geologist with over 30 years of experience in exploration and mining in Australia.
He has held senior positions with major Australian mining companies including Renison Goldfields Consolidated, and spent 10 years as director of Archer Geological Consulting which specialises in project generation, geological mapping and project evaluation.
Mr Archer was a consultant to Atlas Iron and Warwick Resources, and was responsible for significant iron ore discoveries for both companies in the Pilbara. He was also involved in the discovery of the Magellan lead mine, as well as the Raleigh and Paradigm gold mines.
Mr Archer was a founding director and executive director of Sheffield Resources but transitioned into a non-executive role from early 2020 to March 2021.
