Sheffield Resources is an emerging mineral sands company with significant additional iron, nickel, potash and talc assets, all located within the state of Western Australia. Sheffield’s flagship is the Thunderbird mineral sands project, located in the Canning Basin region near Derby. The initial focus at Dampier is the large-scale, high-grade Thunderbird deposit which has the potential to become a “Tier 1″ company-making asset.
Sheffield is also evaluating the Eneabba and McCalls mineral sands projects which are located in the established North Perth Basin mineral sands province. These projects have substantial mineral resources and are well located with respect to existing infrastructure. The Company also offers investors exposure to the emerging Fraser Range nickel province.
Sheffield’s Red Bull project is located within 20km of the Nova nickel-copper mine.
