Viburnum buys into Cranecorp
Private investment group Viburnum Funds has acquired a majority shareholding in Henderson-based Cranecorp Australia in a deal believed to be worth about $50 million.
Craig O’Donnell began his career as a heavy duty mechanic, completing a 4-year apprenticeship with BHP where he also obtained his Dogman’s ticket. The following year, he moved to Karratha as a Dogman at the Burrup Supply Base. Mr O'Donnell spent over 20 years as a rigger, scaffolder and crane operator on construction and mining projects all over Australia, with the later years predominately in the offshore oil & gas maintenance and construction sectors.
