Craig Marshall
Craig Marshall, the managing director of Empire Oil & Gas NL, is a geologist with 30 years technical and managerial experience in the petroleum and mineral industry in Australia, the United Kingdom and South East Asia, including Vietnam and Burma. He was chair of two public companies and managing director of petroleum exploration company, Anzoil NL. He had an integral role in obtaining the first Production Sharing Contract in Vietnam's onshore Hanoi Basin. Mr Marshall resigned from Anzoil in 1993 to pursue the development of coal seam gas prospects in the Bowen Basin in Queensland. Since 1995, he has undertaken the development of Empire Oil & Gas NL and its Perth, Canning and Carnarvon Basin assets. The company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange on 15 January 1998.
