Clive Donner is the founding managing director of LinQ Group, a boutique investment bank he founded in 2004 with specialist skills in mining and resources, technology and the property development sectors.
Mr Donner has been in the funds management business since 1997. He has over 40 years of commercial experience within Australia and internationally in equity investment, corporate and project financing, capital raising, investment advising and evaluation of resource companies across a range of commodities, and in debt and equity.
Mr Donner also has substantial experience in providing structured solutions to investing in order to identify and manage the risks inherent in investing in the smaller capitalised resources sector.
Prior to founding LinQ, Mr Donner was the founding managing director of a resources venture capital fund (Golden Arrow Fund) within N M Rothschild & Sons (Australia), which invested in emerging mining companies and projects mainly in Australasia. Mr Donner was a key member of the Rothschild’s private equity investment team during which time he was a pioneer in the use of convertible notes in the resources sector. He also spent 9 years in senior executive positions at Citibank in Australia and overseas.
