Caroline Thomson

Caroline Thomson is a corporate communications manager with more than 10 years’ experience, including four years as director at Cannings Purple. She has broad professional experience including media and stakeholder relations, community consultation, issues and crisis management, internal communication, publications and online management. Ms Thomson worked in a variety of industries including resources, financial services, land development and education, with a diverse range of listed, private and government organisations. She was awarded the Public Relations Institute of Australia’s (PRIA) State Award for Excellence in 2011 for her work with Chinese iron ore developer Sinosteel Midwest Corporation in the area of stakeholder and community relations. Ms Thomson is a full member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Mass Communications) in Public Relations and Journalism.
