Gold explorer, BMG Resources is set to start the new year with a bang after securing a rig for a 12,000m drilling blitz at its high-grade Abercromby gold project near Wiluna in WA. The aircore drilling will test a series of newly identified structural targets similar to the company’s high-grade Capitol prospect where recent RC drilling returned a sensational 26m hit going 6.07 g/t gold.

BMG Resources is wasting little time following up on some prior spectacular gold hits at its Abercromby project near Wiluna with a dual exploration play at the site now in full swing. The program will see the explorer recommence diamond drilling at its high-grade Capital prospect and probe a series of nearby structural targets using an aircore rig.

BMG Resources has seemingly upped the ante at its Abercromby gold project in the north-eastern Goldfields of WA after scooping a fleet of wide gold hits from a recent RC drilling campaign. The notable strikes are underlined by a series of scintillating results that include 6 metres at 19.8 grams per tonne gold from 83m with a 1m section grading 100.39 g/t gold at the same depth.

Gold explorer BMG Resources has wrapped up a diamond and aircore drilling blitz at its high-grade Abercromby gold project in the north-eastern Goldfields of WA. Drilling was designed to chase up a suite of wide gold hits from a previous reverse circulation campaign at the Capital prospect along with testing multiple grass roots targets generated from a recently completed ground geophysical program.

Shares in BMG Resources surged more than 50 per cent on intraday trading following confirmation that diamond drilling at the Capital prospect, part of the larger Abercromby project in WA has delivered another serious batch of gold results that have more than doubled the size of the deposit and significantly boosted the operation's resource potential.

ASX-listed BMG Resources has outlined a suite of regional gold anomalies after running a follow-up air-core drilling program over underexplored areas of its Abercromby project near Wiluna in Western Australia. The campaign adds a pipeline of greenfield exploration targets to the project’s previously defined Capital South, Barrack and Archer prospects.

BMG Resources has extended the mineralised footprint of its Abercromby gold project near Wiluna out to 1.3km after receiving assay results from the company’s recent diamond drilling campaign. Assay highlights include a 5.56m hit at 3.5 grams per tonne gold from 400m whilst a second hole recorded a 6m intercept going 2.79 g/t gold from 171m.

BMG Resources’ metallurgical testing has confirmed that it achieved a 93 to 95 per cent gold recovery using typical gravity and cyanide carbon-in-leach processing at its Abercromby gold project near Wiluna in Western Australia. The ore was found to be free milling with the majority of the gold leached in the first eight hours with low reagent consumption. The gravity circuit recovered between 34 and 41 per cent of the gold.

BMG Resources has bagged a patch of prime Eastern Goldfields real estate near Coolgardie in Western Australia that houses a 4km corridor of lithium-rich pegmatites along with a clutch of high-priority gold prospects. Historic rock chip sampling has kicked up multiple anomalous lithium values, peaking at 1.9 per cent lithium oxide. The tenure is located a stone’s throw from the multi-million-ounce Bullabulling gold mine.

BMG Resources has delivered an impressive 518,000-ounce maiden gold resource from an 11.1-million-tonne haul at 1.45 grams per tonne gold at its Abercromby gold project near Wiluna. The company says mineralisation at its Capital gold deposit starts at surface and continues along strike outside the resource footprint, adding considerable potential. The project is on granted mining leases, providing an expedited pathway to mining approvals.

A maiden RC drilling program at BMG Resources’ Bullabulling project in WA’s East Yilgarn lithium corridor has tapped into an intriguing swarm of potentially lithium-rich pegmatites. The junior explorer’s shares spiked nearly 85 per cent to 2.4 cents today on the back of the encouraging discovery. BMG has until next month to make the final decision to acquire full ownership of the prospective tenure.

BMG Resources has expanded its portfolio of Western Australian gold and lithium projects, acquiring the Bullabulling project in the Eastern Goldfields' emerging Coolgardie lithium and gold region. The company exercised its option on the project after initial reverse-circulation drilling confirmed strong prospectivity for lithium and gold. Plans for follow-up drilling is underway and more assays are due in the coming weeks.

BMG Resources is again cranking the drillbit, with a 36-hole air-core (AC) drill program to home in on multiple, high-quality lithium and gold targets at its Bullabulling project where anomalous lithium-caesium-tantalum pegmatites were identified in its maiden reconnaissance program. Fieldwork and geochemical analysis previously outlined lithium-bearing pegmatites within a 4km corridor and gold occurrences were also recorded at the major Coolgardie lithium and gold province.

BMG Resources has instigated scoping and development studies, in addition to resource definition, expansion and exploration drilling, to develop and expand the 518,000-ounce resource at its Capital deposit in Western Australia. The company also plans to test other gold anomalies south of Capital, which it believes have the potential to deliver more pre-PFS ounces to the project.

BMG Resources’ second round of drilling at its Bullabulling project near Coolgardie in Western Australia has nailed high-grade gold hits up to 4m at 10.12g/t in shallow drilling and confirmed stacked, lithium-rich pegmatites with a best slice of 4m at 0.56 per cent lithium oxide. The company says it highlights its discovery potential in a “world-class Australian lithium and gold region”.

Non-executive director of BMG Resources John Prineas will replace Greg Hancock as the non-executive chairman of the company as it kicks off a search for a new MD to develop its 500,000-ounce gold find near Wiluna. The move follows the resignation of Managing Director Bruce McCracken and will see Mr Hancock remain on the board as an independent non-exec director.
