Members join health foundation board
The St John of God Foundation board has appointed new members, including executives from the not-for-profit's health care arm and the CEO of its Subiaco hospital.

Bianca Pietralla has significant senior level experience in marketing, communications and community development.
Ms Pietralla is the chief executive of St John of God Foundation, the philanthropic arm of St John of God Health Care - one of Australia’s leading private, for-purpose national health care and community services providers. The Foundation is a not-for-profit registered charity that raises and distributes vital funds for innovations in health care with the greatest potential to improve clinical outcomes and quality of life for patients and their families. Ms Pietralla joined the Foundation as general manager in November 2017 before becoming acting chief executive in December 2017. She was formally appointed as chief executive in August 2018 and is tasked with increasing the Foundation’s impact in enabling leading medical research and personalised patient treatment, through collaboration with those who share its vision of advancing the health of Australians.
Prior to joining St John of God Foundation, Ms Pietralla had held senior management positions at Curtin University, the Royal Flying Doctor Service WA, and Bankwest.
