Barry Urban

Barry Urban was a WA Labor Party Member of the Legislative Assembly for Darling Range from March 2017 to May 2018. He resigned from the Labor Party and sat as an Independent Member from November 2017 after a series of scandals involving false claims and misleading information of his credentials.

Mr Urban relocated to Western Australia in 2000 and worked in the construction industry until joining the Western Australia Police in 2005. He worked with at-risk juveniles as a Youth Justice Officer, and was a Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale Councillor and volunteer bush firefighter.
