Andrew Wood

With a tenure of 21 years with WorleyParsons and over 34 years’ experience in the resources and energy industry, Andrew Wood has extensive knowledge across the Group. He was Worley's chief executive from October 2012 to February 2020, and executive director until his retirement in June 2020. His previous roles included group managing director of finance & chief financial officer responsible for group-wide direction and support to the business functions of finance, information management, internal procurement and communications, legal and risk; managing director for the Australia/New Zealand region; and managing director of mergers and acquisitions where he oversaw 15 business acquisitions including Parsons E&C Corporation in November 2004 and The Colt Group in March 2007. Mr Wood was also responsible for the Group's early expansion into Thailand and the Middle East, Canada and Chile in his capacity as managing director for international operations. Mr Wood holds a Bachelor of Engineering and graduate diplomas in Financial Management and Labour Management Relations. He is also a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Australia.
