Amanda Healy, is a Wonnarua woman – traditional owners of the Hunter Valley in NSW, and part of the Koorie nation. She has spent most of her life living in WA. Ms Healy is an entrepreneur and the founder & chief executive of two businesses: Kirrikin and Warrikal.
In late 2014, Ms Healy founded Kirrikin, a luxury accessories designer, which features artworks of contemporary Indigenous Australian artists, showcased on handcrafted silk & cashmere scarves; silk neckties, bow ties & pocket squares. Warrikal is a mechanical maintenance business in the resources sector, founded in 2017.
Ms Healy previously owned and ran Port Hedland business Maxx Engineering, which was established in 2004 and sold in 2015. She has held senior roles in the engineering industry across Australia, Africa and Canada.
Ms Healy holds an MBA and a Doctor of Commerce.
In March 2022, Ms Healy was inducted into the WA Women’s Hall of Fame under the business category. The WA Women's Hall of Fame was established on International Women's Day in 2011.
