In March 2016, West Peak Iron became Corizon. WPI had engaged in the exploration and evaluation of mineral properties in Australia and Liberia. It primarily explored for iron ore, as well as other commodities including gold and base metals. The company had 4 granted licences for a total area of 977 square kilometres in Liberia through a combination of reconnaissance and exploration licences for iron ore in the Grand Bassa, Bomi, Bong, and River Cess counties; and held interests in a land holding comprising 15 granted tenements and 28 tenement applications in the Mid West and Yilgarn Iron provinces.
In January 2020, Corizon became eMetals following the acquisition of RWG Minerals from GWR Group, and a recompliance prospectus.
