Kooljaman top WA indigenous business
KOOLJAMAN, a fully Aboriginal-owned West Kimberley tourism complex, has been named WA Indigenous Business of the Year for the second year running.
Warlayirti Artists is located in Wirrimanu community (Balgo) on the edges of the Tanami camp, Great Sandy Deserts, about 300km south of Halls Creek in Western Australia.
Warlayirti has an established national and international reputation for luminous acrylic paintings and limited edition original prints. It has two galleries of artworks for sale, home to a keeping place collection of significant art & objects, and a professional recording studio.
Warlayirti’s artists live in Balgo, Billiluna and Mulan. Seven different language groups are represented through Warlayirti.
