WA Freight Group was originally founded in 1991 as WA Freightlines Pty Ltd, to service West Australian companies and branches of national companies, providing them with an exceptional express service. SInce then it has been part of a number of mergers and amalgamations with other transport and logistic companies. Of most recent WA Freight Group was acquired by McAleese Group which then went into administration at the end of 2016.
