W Fairweather & Son is a family-owned commercial building company founded in 1895.
Current managing director Peter Fairweather is the great grandson of the company’s founder, William Fairweather, who was the proud holder of Certificate of Registration No. 1 from the Builders Registration Board of WA (now the Master Builders Association of Western Australia). William Fairweather was also a founding member of Master Builders and served as president from 1919 to 1920.
The company’s projects included the Presbyterian Ladies College Library, University of Notre Dame School of Medicine (heritage significance), Scotch College Early Learning Centre and the University of Western Australia’s student services precinct.
