VeinTech is a privately-held Perth-based medtech startup that is developing an innovative medical device aimed at revolutionising patient and physician experience in vascular access practice.
The product, VeinWave, is an ultra-portable device that can be used with minimal training to find and accurately target veins. It aims to improve first pass cannulation success rates in obese patients, and ultimately in all patients with difficult venous access.
VeinTech won the 2019 and 2021 MedTech Actuator Origin competitions. It was also a Business News Great for the State platinum winner at the 2021 WA Innovator of the Year Awards.
