Variscan Mines is an ASX-listed Australian resource company focused on exploring and developing mineral deposits.

The company was incorporated in 1987 (as PlatSearch NL) and has since successfully explored, or joint ventured, numerous exploration properties within eastern Australia.

In 2011 the company commenced project acquisition work in Europe, with a strong focus on France.
