Takor Group is a Perth-based disruptive geospatial technology company with an aim to democratise location-based technology.
Founded in 2009 by Amir Farhand, the company initially focused on using satellite imagery for iron ore exploration, then in 2011 initiated research and development into field mobile mapping technologies and thermal imaging systems. This was when Takor Group created and released the mobile mapping application Mappt in 2013, followed by the social media mapping app Kojai in 2014.
Takor's products are used in industries spanning from agriculture and education, to mining and defence.
The company changed its name from Takor Group to Soar.Earth in 2017.
