In early March 2014, Stockland started construction on their $116 million redevelopment to expand the Baldivis shopping centre from 7,000 square metres to 29,500 square metres. The redevelopment was planned to be completed in two stages and on completion, will include a full-line Coles, full-line Woolworths, 2 mini majors and 95 specialty stores. In addition to this, there will be a 275-seat indoor and outdoor dining terrace as well as additional 1,400 parking spaces.
