This year’s candidates again proved what a wealth of talent we have in WA.

The South West Development Commission has appointed Patrick Warrand to the newly-created role of strategic manager – infrastructure.Mr Warrand was previously general manager at Premier Coal and prior to that, spent over 20 years at BHP Billiton in WA, Canada and Indonesia.

Tania Jackson and Ed Valom have been appointed to the board of management of the South West Development Commission. Both of them will be responsible for steering the direction and setting the priorities of the State Government agency.

PwC has appointed Michelle Tremain as the next managing partner, Perth. She will replace Justin Carroll in the role from the beginning of next year. Ms  Tremain has served as a partner of the firm since 2004. Mr  Carroll will remain with the firm as a partner.
