The Shire of Narembeen is situated 280km from Perth, in the Wheatbelt area of Western Australia, and is predominantly an agricultural region with the main agricultural pursuits being cereal cropping, cattle and sheep.

It includes the towns of Mt Walker, Narembeen, South Kumminin, and Woolocutty.
