Nyota Minerals Limited operated as a mineral exploration and development company. It primarily explored for gold. The company’s flagship project included the 100% owned Tulu Kapi gold project located in the western Wellega Zone of the Oromia region in western Ethiopia. It also held a mineral exploration license area of approximately 3,200 km2 in the Northern Blocks in Ethiopia.
The company was formerly known as Dwyka Resources Limited and changed its name to Nyota Minerals Limited in September 2009.
The company was delisted from the ASX in August 2017.
