The Motivation Foundation was incorporated in 2018 as a not-for-profit organisation whose purpose is the relief of poverty or distress in disadvantaged young people through education and the development of life employability skills.
The Motivation Foundation aims to educate and develop life and employability skills for school students enrolled in Years 11, 12 or equivalent from diverse backgrounds. It offers students the opportunity to achieve a nationally recognised Certificate II in Civil Construction and Certificate II in Resources and Infrastructure Work Preparation, through on-site training and workplace experience while still in high school. It also transitions students to the world of work, supporting the skills required by the community, while at the same time providing for the needs of students and their families, relieving poverty and advancing education.
