Molycop produces grinding media, engineering forgings and a range of specialised fasteners for use in the mining and mineral processing industry. Molycop acquired competitor Donhad in 2017. At the time of the merger Molycop had one Australian manufacturing facility in Newcastle while Donhad had facilities in Newcastle, Townsville and Perth.The Perth operation also had a forging and heat treatment facility for the manufacture and supply of specialised fasteners.
