Midas Engineering went into insolvency in 2018. Former subsidiaries METS and CDMS remained in business, but the Midas business no longer trades.

Midas Engineering Group had offices in Perth, Newcastle, Noosa, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Clients were in the mining, oil and gas, water, power, chemicals, infrastructure, environmental, residential and commercial industries with expertise across a range of engineering and consulting services. Capabilities ranged from mineral processing, design and verification, product innovation and project management through to environmental, operations, training and skills hire. Midas Engineering Group had a number of subsidiary companies including METS Engineering, CDMS Consulting, Wilkie Civil Engineering, Norden Engineering, Midas Environmental, Sanderson Consultants and TCT Electrical Engineers.
