Margaret River Wine Production
Margaret River Wine Production trades as Margaret River Vintners. It is the largest wine processor in the Margaret River region and owns the Evans & Tate brand and assets, operates 379 hectares of vineyards including Smithbrook and Pemberton Estate, and owns Selwyn Viticultural Services. It has a processing facility comprising production capacity of 12,000 tonnes, tank storage of 13 million litres and storage capacity for 4,000 barrels.
MRWP was established in 2017 as a 70:30 joint venture between Fogarty Wine Group and McWilliams Wine Group. The joint venture brought together the two companies respective wine making assets in the region. In 2019 Brisbane-based fund manager Laguna Bay invested $60m of debt and equity to acquire McWilliams Wines Group's 30% holding.
