Karlayura is a proudly 100% Aboriginal owned profit-for-purpose business. Created and grown by local loreman Brian Tucker, Karlayura exists to get its ‘family’ back on country, reserve Aboriginal cultural traditions and develop strong and self-sustaining communities.
Karlayura works on a variety of civil construction and mining infrastructure projects, and provides labour for civil and mining companies, while reinvesting 100% of its profits into local communities and capacity building to provide better long-term living for Indigenous Australians. Karlayura Group also operates Karlayura Tours, which is a proudly 100% Aboriginal owned and operated profit-for-purpose business. They exist to build open, honest relationships between Aboriginal and non- Aboriginal Australians through authentic cultural experiences and self-development opportunities.
