In 2004, New Zealand-founded real estate group Harcourts acquired Roy Weston Group (it is assumed from the Trevisan family-controlled Transcontinental group). At the time, Roy Weston Group had more than 50 Offices in Western Australia and 15 offices in Indonesia.
In 2007, all Roy Weston franchises were rebranded as Harcourts, but the group still owns the Roy Weston brand.
