SMS tycoon makes foray into Bitcoin
Macro Energy will become the first Australian-listed company to enter the Bitcoin phenomenon under plans spearheaded by Perth SMS entrepreneur Zhenya Tsvetnenko.
DigitalX, formerly Digital CC which traded as digitalBTC, is an innovative software solutions company providing investors exposure to the global digital payments industry, through disruptive fintech products and services in the remittance and digital currencies sector. The Company has previously established revenues from its Bitcoin mining and trading activities. It has developed proprietary technology through these operations, which it now utilises in other payments solutions targeting the global remittance sector.
The company listed on the ASX in June 2014 after a reverse takeover of Macro Energy Ltd (ASX: MEJ) and is publicly traded as DigitalX Limited (ASX:DCC).

Perth company Digital CC has revealed its first sales results for investment in the virtual bitcoin industry with revenue reaching $US2.1 million to the end of June 2014.
