Hefty price for heritage hold-ups

Completed in 2015, COMO The Treasury is a 48-room contemporary luxury hotel housed in Perth City’s 140-year old State Buildings, which form part of the $580 million Cathedral Square redevelopment, on the corner of St Georges Terrace and Barrack Street.
In 2016, the hotel was named second best in the world by travel publisher Conde Nast and voted Best Hotel in Western Australia by the Australian Hotels Association
In 2017, it was named overall Hotel of the Year at the Australian Hotels Association National Awards for Excellence.
In 2020, it was ranked as the best city hotel in Australia and New Zealand and 71st in the Top 100 Hotels in the World by US tourism magazine Travel + Leisure.
