The Bundi Yamatji Aboriginal Corporation (BYAC) is the Prescribed Body Corporate (PBC) for the Yamatji Nation native title holders.
Covering approximately 48,000 square kilometres of land in the State’s Mid-West region, including Geraldton, the 2019 Yamatji Nation Agreement resolved the Western Australian Government’s compensation liability for the impairment and/or extinguishment of native title in the agreement area and included a package of benefits for the Yamatji people, totalling approximately $500 million. The people of the Yamatji Nation is made up of the Yamatji Nation, Southern Yamatji, Hutt River, Mullewa Wadjari and Widi Mob native title claim groups.
