Monadelphous Group Ltd (ASX:MND) today announced it has secured new projects in the minerals and oil and gas sectors with a combined contract value of approximately $140 million. The projects include:
Structural, mechanical and piping works for the dry processing area as part of the Boddington Gold Mine Expansion Project in Western Australia. Work will commence this month and is due for completion in the third quarter of 2008.
Three year contract for the provision of capital works and turnaround management with BP at their Kwinana refinery located south of Perth, Western Australia.
Structural, mechanical and electrical package for the Dalrymple Bay Coal Terminal (DBCT) expansion in Queensland. The project will mobilise in January 2008, with completion in November 2008.
Initial 12 month award for mechanical, structural and electrical maintenance services contract for the new coal preparation plant and associated infrastructure at Anglo Coal's Dawson mine in Queensland.
Monadelphous Group Managing Director Robert Velletri said that the Company was pleased to secure these latest awards.
"We've been in a heavy tendering phase recently and these latest contracts reflect continuing strong demand for our services," said Mr Velletri.
"We also expect to announce further wins before the end of the year," he added.
