AFTER three months of refurbishment work worth $400,000, three heritage-listed cottages in Northbridge have opened for tender.
In Aberdeen Street, the century-old cottages were recently renovated as part of the redevelopment of land above and adjacent to the tunnel.
Built in the 1860s, the cottages were restored to their former glory by the East Perth Redevelopment Authority, and they reflect the typical colonial and federation architectural styles of the era.
According to EPRA chief executive officer Tony Morgan, the cottages are in a prime location and would suit a number of uses.
“They offer good quality charac-ter-style accommodation suitable for office, professional or residential use,” he said.
Tenders close at noon, on Wednesday, May 9.
