Nedlands-based BigRedSky, the IT and telecommunications recruitment specialists, has signed an exclusive distributorship agreement with the former founder and CEO of Interstruct, Bob Williams.
In conjunction with his CEO, Brian Laurance, Mr Williams will be marketing this new e-recruitment solutions software package to the construction industry throughout Australia.
“It not only allows employers to publish current and future job vacancies online at their web site, it also encourages applicants to apply direct to their site, giving the employer a ready-made database of poten-tial employees and contractors,” Mr Williams said.
“It also gives employers the ability to search their database for specific qualifications, cross-reference past project performances and create an ongoing profile of contractors, suppliers and potential employees.”
Mr Williams said BigRed-Sky’s software would have saved Interstruct’s human re-sources department con-siderable administrative work had it been available when the company constructed one of Perth’s biggest high-rise office blocks, QV1.
“I expect the building and construction industries will be quick to seize the benefits of this online technology,” he said.
“The software is just so terrific that it can either be incorporated into an existing website or can actually become the working web page for small to medium-sized enterprises that are not yet online.”
BigRedSky director Steve Lieblich said the software could be implemented using either a standard pro-forma, or it could be tailored to meet specific needs.
Under the partnership, com-panies using the e-recruitment software would receive ongoing technical support from BigRed-Sky and business support from Mr Williams
