IT services provider ASG Group Limited is pleased to announce that it has been selected for a contract to provide IT infrastructure managed services for global telecommunications group Ericsson.
The three year, multi-million contract includes the provision of infrastructure managed services including service desk, server and desktop services for one of Ericsson's major corporate customers.
The contract will be managed out of ASG's Northern Region base in Sydney, delivering managed services on a national scale.
ASG Chief Executive Officer Geoff Lewis said ASG's ability to deliver services on a national level was a key element to being awarded the contract.
"ASG's credibility and capability to deliver services across Australia means that we can compete for contracts of this size and significance," said Mr Lewis.
"However, it is our flexibility and ability to adapt to customers' needs that enables us to win contracts of this scale and complexity - particularly when competing against multinational organisations."
Mr Lewis said the contract win was another excellent achievement for the Northern Region.
"We are delighted to have been selected by Ericsson and look forward to starting work on this opportunity," said Mr Lewis.
