KWIK Kerb are currently looking for dedicated franchisees. The company offers a system for the installation of continuous concrete edging.
A Kwik Kerb franchise has no ongoing fees or area restrictions and marketing support is ongoing.
Kwik Kerb spokesman Gordon Buckland said while getting into your own business was risky, chances of success can be improved by choosing a well proven franchise or systemised business that had been around for at least 10 years.
“Recent figures show that 84 per cent of franchise-style businesses are still in business after five years whereas 94 per cent of other new businesses go broke in the first year,” he said.
“The garden and kerbing market has grown dramatically over the past few years and is estimated at more than $100 million per annum.
“It’s not surprising that people are willing to pay $40,000 for a proven concrete edging franchise formula.
“Kwik Kerb enjoys market leadership in Australia and in every other country in which it operates.”
The company has branches in New Zealand, Singapore, Canada, UK, USA and South Africa.
