George Beever, a former Westpoint manager who set up his own finance business after the property group's collapse, is accused of failing to tell his new clients they could get out of contracts.
A former Westpoint manager George Beever was in the Perth Magistrate's Court today to defend charges against Ferntree Finance that it did not tell new clients they can get out of contracts and using high pressure sales tactics in the finance business.
Mr Beever established Ferntree Finance after Westpoint collapsed in February owing 4,000 investors $300 million.
