This year the highly successful Perth Tradie Expo will be held in conjunction with Recruit WA the ‘job ready’ event from 17 – 19 June at Ascot Racecourse.
The Perth Tradie Expo is in its ninth year. The 3 day event has grown to be the largest expo of its kind in Australia, showcasing Tools, Machinery, Trucks, Earthmoving Equipment, Commercial Vehicles, 4x4 equipment, workwear and a host of industry related services.
This year Recruit WA, a dedicated recruitment event, will be targeting 'job ready' candidates and those looking to be up-skilled. It will also allow exhibitors to showcase their services to thousands of SML businesses and government departments attending both events.
Recruit WA was created as an additional event in response to the large number of Perth Tradie Expo exhibitors booking sites with the sole purpose of seeking urgently needed employees.
Recruit WA will be held on the same weekend as the Perth Tradie Expo. Over 10,000 attendees visit the Tradie Expo each year. With the addition of Recruit WA there will be a significant increase in the number of people attending both events.
Since the launch, Recruit WA has received over 100 site requests from a broad range of companies plus significant involvement from existing Perth Tradie Exhibitors such as Westrac and The Australian Defence Force.
Recruit WA will occupy a separate area within Ascot Racecourse to accommodate exhibitors however visitors will enter via combined entry point allowing them to interact within both events.
A highly targeted advertising campaign will be aimed at people wanting to be involved in Mining, Construction, Transport, Infrastructure and allied industries.
Recruit WA will also engage ‘virtual attendees’ from outlying WA towns and Eastern States via a comprehensive webinar being offered.
Both events are unlike any other. Recruit WA primarily focuses on the immediate need to fill vast numbers of job vacancies whilst the Perth Tradie Expo offers the latest in technology and is just in time for end of financial year purchases.
To register for either event visit www.recruitwa.com.au or www.tradieexpo.com.au.
Visitors can enter both events by gold coin entry donation with 100% of proceeds going to the Children’s Leukaemia Foundation and Desperate for Love Dog Pound Rescue.
