Board Moves September 7, 2021

Breaker Resources has appointed Peter Cook as non-executive chair, replacing executive chair and founder Thomas Sanders who will transition to the role of managing director. Mr Cook is a geologist and mineral economist with over 35 years of experience in exploration, project, operational and corporate management of mining companies.

Jacob Deysel will become the chief executive of Mineral Commodities from 4 October. Mr Deysel has close to 20 years of experience in the heavy minerals industry and has held senior executive positions across numerous commodities in Africa, South America, Europe and Australia.

New Standard Energy has advised that non-executive director XiaoNing Lin passed away following a car accident. Ms Lin has been a board member since 2019.

Bruce McFadzean will retire from the board of Sheffield Resources, in order to focus on other business opportunities and board commitments. Mr McFadzean joined the company in October 2015 and was its managing director before transitioning to a non-executive director in July 2021.
